Application Criteria Developmental Programme

Music Elective Programme (MEP)

  • Relevant achievements and experiences in musical theory, instrument(s) and/or voice

  • Successful DSA applicants for MEP will enrol in the Music Elective Programme. They will:

    • Take Higher Music as a subject in Years 1 to 4
    • Participate in MEP enrichment programmes such as concert attendance, performance, workshops, masterclasses and camp.

Developmental Programme
  • Successful DSA applicants for MEP will enrol in the Music Elective Programme. They will:

Phase 1: Written Assessment

  • Music Theory
  • Musical Perception including Aural Skills

8 July, 3:00pm – 4:00pm

Phase 2: Audition cum Interview
(for shortlisted students from Phase 1)

  • Audition: 1 or 2 pieces of solo performance on an instrument or voice, not more than 5 minutes in total duration
  • Interview

29 July
Scheduled slots between 2:00pm and 5:30pm
