Relevant achievements in Chinese and English Languages, and
Strong interest and passion in Chinese language, literature and bicultural studies

Successful DSA applicants for Bilingualism will enrol in the Chinese Language Talent Development Programme. In addition, they will also enrol in:

One selected Elective Module offered by the Chinese Department in both Years 1 and 2
Bicultural Studies Programme (MOE) or Chinese Language Elective Programme at Secondary Level (CLEP-Sec) Language Elective Programme (Chinese) in Years 3 and 4

Find out more about bilingual and bicultural learning in Dunman High, as well as the DSA talent area of Bilingualism from these videos! In the first video, HOD/Special Assistance Plan (SAP) Ms Teh Shi Ling gives an overview of the bilingual and bicultural programmes in our school. Dunmanians Zhang Zhiyan, Chen Haoyang, Aeryn Yang, Lin Man, Klemens Lim and Jiang Ruge take turns to share their individual learning experience in the second half of this video.

The second video here is produced by the 14^th Bicultural Studies Programme (BSP) Council. This is a light-hearted video which shares about the meaning behind all the block names in Dunman High. Each block in our school has a Chinese name - 笃行楼、正心楼、格致楼、慎思楼、涵美楼、博学楼、集思楼. Watch the video to find out the essence behind these names and to immerse in the SAP culture of Dunman High!
